9. The Apocalypse and Theosophical Cosmology VI

[ 1 ] Ich will heute die Betrachtungen der letzten Stunden weiterführen, um dann die Apokalypse fortzusetzen, was jetzt in großer Kürze geschehen kann, wenn man an die Urkunde herangeht mit den Vorkenntnissen, die wir in den letzten Stunden gewonnen haben. Das sind die Ideale des Initiierten, alles mit dem Eindruck betrachten, dass es wahr werden wird. Es muss sich aber auch gestalten lassen, nicht nur so aus dem Blauen.

Das Wohlergehen des Einzelnen wird kein anderes sein, als dass allen anderen Wesen auch ein solches Wohlergehen zukomme. Karma wird erfüllt sein. Es wird schon in der nächsten Rasse - der sechsten - der vierten Runde erfüllt sein. Es wird verwirklicht sein in der fünften Runde - kein Kristall mehr - alles wird ein großer Garten sein in der Art von ineinander sprießenden [Lücke in der Mitschrift]

[ 5 ] The fifth round will have nothing mineral anymore, only the plant kingdom at the bottom. A moral world order will be established in the fifth round. The well-being of the individual will be no different from that of all other beings. Karma will be fulfilled. It will be fulfilled in the next race - the sixth - of the fourth round. It will be realized in the fifth round - no more crystal - everything will be one great garden in the manner of interlocking crystals.

[ 8 ] The living is not grasped by the mind, only the pure spirit will understand this. One must learn to think without using one's senses. Both Goethe and Plato had such thinking. That is the process up to the fifth round. We are currently living in the fifth root race.

[ 10 ] The first root race, the polaric one, could only live as it did because the earth was of a finer substance and at a higher temperature. It was a fine, ethereal substance. The souls incarnated in this substance. They were people of a different kind – etheric people.

[ 11 ] Die Fortpflanzung war so: Die Menschen waren länglich, es waren noch nicht Hände entwickelt - die Wesen teilten sich, es gab ein Wesen das andere von sich ab. Es war der Tod noch nicht. Der Tod fand erst statt in der zweiten Rasse. Die erste Rasse lebte in der Gegend um den Pol herum. Es waren andere Wärmeverhältnisse. Jedes Wesen war seelenerfüllt. Sterben gab es nicht. Die Erde kühlte sich immer mehr ab, und die Materie konnte sich nicht mehr so fortpflanzen. Die Seele verlor die Fähigkeit, auf die Materie in der ersten Weise zu wirken, und schaffte sich andere Organe zur Fortpflanzung. Die Tochterwesen waren jetzt kleiner, und jetzt konnten die Wesen mehr Stoff aufnehmen, um die Teilung zu bewirken. Die Tochterwesen aber waren zuerst sehr klein; wachsen dann aber sehr schnell. Das Chemische stirbt ab. Die Wesen mussten sich nun neue Organe ausbilden. Denn bei der zweiten Rasse tritt die Empfindung auf. Bei der ersten Rasse war nur der Hörsinn vorhanden. Die ganze Umwelt war Ton. Der Ton wurde wahrgenommen.

[ 11 ] Reproduction was as follows: the people were elongated, hands had not yet developed – the beings divided, one being gave birth to the other. There was no death yet. Death did not occur until the second race. The first race lived in the area around the pole. The temperature conditions were different. Every being was filled with soul. There was no dying. The earth cooled more and more, and matter could no longer reproduce itself in the same way. The soul lost the ability to affect matter in the first way and created other organs for reproduction. The daughter beings were now smaller, and now the beings could absorb more substance to cause the division. But the daughter beings were very small at first; but then they grew very quickly. The chemical dies off. The beings now had to develop new organs. Because with the second race, sensation occurs. With the first race, only the sense of hearing was present. The whole environment was sound. The sound was perceived.

[ 12 ] Bei der zweiten Rasse kam noch der Tastsinn hinzu. Der Mensch fängt an, Wärmeunterschiede zu machen. Das ist die hyperboreische Zeit. Die zweite Rasse sind die Hyperboreer. Die dritte Rasse, die Lemurier, entwickelten etwas ganz Besonderes. Vorher war der Mensch befördert durch Außenwärme, jetzt aber ist die Erde immer kälter geworden, und eine Art Reaktion trat ein. Eigenwärme hatte jetzt der Mensch, vorher konnten die Wesen keine eigene Wärme haben.

[ 12 ] With the second race, the sense of touch was added. Man begins to make heat differences. That is the Hyperborean time. The second race were the Hyperboreans. The third race, the Lemurians, developed something very special. Before that, man was transported by external heat, but now the earth has become colder and colder, and a kind of reaction occurred. Man now had his own warmth, whereas before, beings could not have their own warmth.

[ 14 ] The soul now became a place of independent life. Expression of Kama in the physical body. Through emotional life the beings could absorb the outer warmth. Therefore man now became a flame.

[ 15 ] Damals, vor dem der Mensch innere Wärme erzeugen konnte, waren die Triebe, Leidenschaften noch unentwickelt, nach dem Sinn von der Außenwelt.

[ 15 ] In those days, before man could generate inner warmth, the instincts, passions, were still undeveloped, in the sense of the outer world.

[ 16 ] In der ersten Zeit der lemurischen Rasse waren die Wesen zweigeschlechtlich, männlich-weiblich, doppelgeschlechtlich. Dann spaltete sich das Wesen, es traten Mann und Weib auf.

[ 16 ] In the early days of the Lemurian race, the beings were bisexual, male-female, and hermaphroditic. Then the being split, and man and woman appeared.

[ 17 ] Von den Atlantiern wurden Ausgewählte geführt nach der Wüste Gobi, aus diesen ist die fünfte Wurzelrasse - unsere heutige Wurzelrasse - entstanden, die ganz besonders den Verstand auszubilden hatte. Die erste Unterrasse dieser fünften wurde von Gobi aus in verschiedene Teile des Südens ausgesendet, nach Indien.

[ 17 ] Those selected by the Atlanteans were led to the Gobi Desert, and from these the fifth root race - our present root race - emerged, which had the particular task of developing the intellect. The first sub-race of this fifth was sent out from Gobi to various parts of the south, to India.

[ 18 ] Die erste Unterrasse sind die Inder; die hohe Kultur dieses Volkes finden wir noch in den Nachklängen der Veden. Die zweite Unterrasse sind die medisch-persischen, die Vorderasiaten. Die Zweigöttlichkeit trat auf.

[ 18 ] The first sub-race are the Indians; the high culture of this people can still be found in the echoes of the Vedas. The second sub-race are the Medo-Persians, the Near Easterners. The dual divinity appeared.

[ 22 ] Die fünfte ist unsere arische, und diese muss vorzugsweise den Verstand entwickeln. — Diese Rasse muss ganz heruntersteigen bis auf den physischen Plan. Die folgende sechste Unterrasse wird, es kann nur andeutungsweise perspektivisch gesagt werden, aus keiner anderen hervorgehen als aus der slawischen. Es ist keine andere zur weiteren Unterrasse als die slawische; im Osten in der «gedrückten» Rasse.

[ 22 ] The fifth is our Aryan race, and this must preferably develop the intellect. — This race must descend completely to the physical plane. The following sixth sub-race will, it can only be hinted at in perspective, arise from none other than the Slavic race. There is no other for further sub-race than the Slavic one; in the East in the “oppressed” race.

Überbleibsel dieser letzteren nun werden sich dann ausnehmen, wie sich heute etwa die Chinesen ausnehmen, welche Überbleibsel sind von der Mongolischen, der siebenten Unterrasse der atlantischen, der vierten Wurzelrasse. Aber die spirituelle, die sechste Unterrasse wird einen anderen physischen Zustand erreichen, die Stoffe werden feiner sein, Verhärtung des Festen, das wird in bewusster Weise vorgehen, sie wird die erste Unterrasse der sechsten Wurzelrasse liefern. In dieser sechsten Wurzelrasse - in der Mitte — wird eine Trennung stattfinden. Männlich und weiblich wird aufhören, ein Rückgang in früheres Verhalten. In der siebenten Wurzelrasse kommt der Verstand zur höchsten Vollkommenheit.

[ 27 ] When the sixth sub-race of our fifth root race is formed from the Slavic peoples, the seventh sub-race is formed from the Americans. The remnants of the latter will then look like the Chinese do today, who are remnants of the Mongolian, the seventh sub-race of the Atlantic, the fourth root race. But the spiritual, the sixth sub-race, will reach a different physical state, the substances will be finer, hardening of the solid, this will proceed in a conscious way, it will deliver the first sub-race of the sixth root race. In this sixth root race - in the middle - a separation will take place. Male and female will cease, a regression to earlier behavior. In the seventh root race, the mind will reach its highest perfection.

[ 29 ] But a new sense will be added, the moral sense. During our fourth round, a majority of people already have that sense; they are artificial fifth-rounders. Those who cannot reach this high level cannot develop further.

[ 35 ] Wie manche Tiere innen weich sind und außen eine harte Kruste haben, diese Tiere haben sich schon vorher verhärtet - Mondtiere — und sind dadurch ein materiell wahrnehmbares Wesen geworden. Die Menschen also, die auf dieser materiellen Stufe stehengeblieben sind, die sich nicht weiterentwickeln können, dieser Mensch wird dann in der fünften Runde materiell zu schaffen verstehen —

[ 35 ] Just as some animals are soft on the inside and have a hard crust on the outside, these animals have already hardened before – moon animals – and have thus become a materially perceptible being. So people who have remained at this material level, who cannot develop further, will then be able to work materially in the fifth round.

[ 43 ] Today, people can hide, but in the fifth round, people can no longer be hypocrites – they will become what they have made themselves. In the sixth round, people will develop Budhi; spiritual perception, much higher, superphysical clairvoyance.

[ 42 ] Der Mensch wird zu einem Verhältnis zur Welt stehen - dem das Wesen missfallen wird. Das Ich-Bewusstsein gliedert sich an und erlebt in einer Welt, die eine Empfindungsgrundlage hat, wie es heute seinen inneren Menschen lebt.

[ 44 ] Man will have a relationship to the world - which will displease the being. The sense of self will be integrated and will experience a world that has a basis in feeling, as the inner man lives today.

[ 43 ] Er wird sich ausdrücken, der Mensch wird Wort geworden sein.

[ 45 ] He will express himself, man will have become word.

[ 51 ] Niemand kann zu einem anderen Ich sagen, nur zu sich selbst kann der Mensch Ich sagen. Die Namennennung aller Wesen ist die Stufe, wo sein Ich erwacht.

[ 53 ] No one can say I to another, only to himself can man say I. The naming of all beings is the stage where his I awakens.

[ 52 ] Mit dem Ich wird die Gottheit ausgesprochen.

[ 54 ] With the I, the deity is pronounced.

[ 53 ] Er nannte dann seinen Namen Jehovah, das heißt «unaussprechlich».

Der nächste Planet - fünfte Runde - wird das Marsstadium haben, der siebente darf noch nicht genannt werden, da man sich diesen Zustand nicht vorstellen kann, er wird einstweilen Vulkan genannt.

[ 57 ] In Genesis – the first four days are the first four rounds and the three following rounds are then on Jupiter, then Venus, then Vulcan. And the Mars stage would already be here. Jupiter should be the same as Venus. The next planet – the fifth round – will have the Mars stage, the seventh may not yet be named because one cannot imagine this state, it is called Vulcan for the time being.

[ 56 ] Den fünften Planeten wird der Mensch auf einer Stufe finden, welcher von dem heutigen dadurch unterschieden ist, weil er schöpferisch tätig ist. Imaginärer Bildner, Schöpfer ist er, selbst ein Schöpfer. So entwickelt er sich auf den sieben Runden der Erde.

[ 58 ] Man will find the fifth planet at a stage that differs from today's because he is creatively active. Imaginary creator, creator, he is a creator himself. This is how he develops on the seven rounds of the earth.

[ 61 ] Denn während in der fünften Runde der Mensch nur imstande ist, als Schein zu schaffen, wie es heute unsere Sonne tut, wird hingegen auf der sechsten Runde dieses geschaffene Farbenbild ein produktives Wesen sein. Auf der Venus ist heute ein solcher Zustand erreicht, lebend zu schaffen, man kann sich diesen Zustand ja nur ausmalen.

[ 63 ] For while in the fifth round man is only capable of creating as an appearance, as our sun does today, on the other hand, in the sixth round, this created color image will be a productive being. On Venus, such a state of creating while alive has been achieved today; one can only imagine this state.
