Prelude to the Mystery of Golgotha
GA 152

After Rudolf Steiner had spoken of a second Mystery of Golgotha that took place during the 19th century in the lectures London, May 2, 1913, and Stuttgart, May 20, 1913, the preliminary stages of this Mystery of Golgotha in earlier epochs of humanity were first mentioned in the cycle Christ and the Spiritual World. The Search for the Holy Grail, given in Leipzig around New Year 1913/14. The presentations that followed in other places – the last in Basel, on Whit Monday, June 1, 1914 – are contained in the full volume 152.

These research results, however, deal only with one aspect of Rudolf Steiner's new knowledge of Christ, which is why reference should also be made to a number of others that are closely related to it:

The Event of the Appearance of Christ in the Ethereal World (16 lectures in various cities, 1910), GA 118.

Esoteric Christianity and the Spiritual Guidance of Humanity (23 lectures in various cities 1911/12), GA 130.

From Akasha Research. The Fifth Gospel (17 lectures in various cities 1913/14), GA 148.
