Esoteric Lesson
Today he wanted to tell us two things about mantras and about the most important rules that the exalted master Morya gave to his disciples.
There are nine qualities that are characteristic of masters:
1. Truth
2. Wisdom
3. Immeasurability
4. Kindness
5. Infinity
6. Beauty
7. Peace
8. Blessing
9. Unity.
He demands five things from us:
1. Purification of the mind
2. Purification of love
3. Emptiness of memory
4. Clarity of understanding
5. Extinguishing or inflaming the will.
The mind must be purified. Love must lose all that is unchaste and become divine. In order to become objective, the memory should not hold on to anything that could give rise to prejudice. The mind should be clear, and the will, where it is selfish, should be extinguished, but where it serves as an instrument of the Masters, it should be inflamed.
Mantras generate vibrations of the word that correspond to the vibrations of thought in the Akasha matter.
About the Christmas saying “Gloriam in excelsis deo et pax hominibus bonae voluntatis”: it has a mantric effect in Latin. Then he said an Indian mantra with similar content, with which he also concluded.
The festivals are fixed points established by the masters. New Year's Day too. That is why elevation is important.

Zweierlei wollte er uns heute sagen über Mantrams und über die wichtigsten Vorschriften, die der erhabene Meister Morya seinen Schülern gäbe.
Es sind 9 Eigenschaften, die den Meistern eigen sind:
1. Wahrheit
2. Weisheit
3. Unermeßlichkeit
4. Güte
5. Unendlichkeit
6. Schönheit
7. Friede
8. Segen
9. Einheitlichkeit.
Verlangen tut er von uns fünferlei:
1. Läuterung des Gemüts
2. Reinigung der Liebe
3. Leerheit des Gedächtnisses
4. Klarheit des Verstandes
5. Auslöschen oder Entflammen des Willens.
Das Gemüt muß geläutert werden. Die Liebe muß alles Unkeusche verlieren und göttlich werden. Das Gedächtnis soll, um objektiv zu werden, nichts festhalten, was Vorurteile erwecken könnte. Der Verstand soll klar sein und der Wille soll, wo er selbstisch ist, verlöschen, wo er aber als Werkzeug der Meister dient, entflammt werden.
Mantren erzeugen Schwingungen des Wortes, die mit den Schwingungen des Gedankens in der Akasha-Materie übereinstimmen.
Über den Weihnachtsspruch «Gloriam in excelsis deo et pax hominibus bonae voluntatis»: er wirkt mantrisch im Lateinischen. Dann sagte er noch ein indisches Mantram ähnlichen Inhalts, mit dem er auch schloß.
Die Feste sind von den Meistern festgesetzte Knotenpunkte. Neujahr auch. Daher Erhebung wichtig.
