Calendar of the Soul

Week 27

When to my being's depths I penetrate,
There stirs expectant longing
That self-observing, I may find myself
As gift of summer sun, a seed
That warming lives in autumn mood
As germinating force of soul.

Southern Hemisphere
Week 1

When out of world-wide spaces
The sun speaks to the human mind,
And gladness from the depths of soul
Becomes, in seeing, one with light,
Then rising from the sheath of self,
Thoughts soar to distances of space
And dimly bind
The human being to the spirit's life.

New management

In early Fall 2021 The e.Lib, Inc. transferred The Rudolf Steiner Archive to a new nonprofit, Steiner Online Library (SOL). Since then, the SOL team has been responsible for the ongoing operations and financing of RSArchive.org. Many thanks to the original founder of this website, James D. Stewart, for this great honor and responsibility.

New website with new translations

In addition to maintaining the Archive, SOL has developed a new mobile-friendly, modernized website at SteinerLibrary.org. At the new website we are posting new English translations and duplicating the content currently available here. Don't worry about the future of the Archive though. We will eventually streamline and repair many aspects of it for those who know and prefer this original format.

Financial support needed

We need your financial support to continue to make this information available. We are a two-person volunteer team who are funding this nonprofit venture out of our retirement savings, your donations, and a small grant. Please visit our help out page for additional ways to give, including tribute gifts in the name of a loved one and adding SOL as a beneficiary to financial accounts, wills and estate plans.

Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support!
