The laws of correspondence between the microcosm and the macrocosm. Meditation, concentration, and their purpose.
The forms of the five ether currents, “tattwas” (see the lessons of November 14 and December 1, 1906):
This is a sign of occult writing, the sign of humanity; there is nothing arbitrary or contrived about this sign, but rather it is read from the cosmos:
Everything is a correspondence in the cosmos, a correspondence between the macrocosm and the microcosm.
Sub rosa = under the rose, the pentagram.
With the tip of the pentagram pointing upwards, it is the sign of white magic; it expresses the development of the sun's powers within itself. With the tip pointing downwards, it is the sign of black magic, expressing the influence of the evil forces of the earth. The black magician concentrates his will on the person he wants to influence and thereby awakens very specific thought images in him.
1. I say that this is the point of initial concentration, the ego consciousness.
2. The language consciousness, the organ for which is the larynx.
3. The upright posture of the human being. The actions of the human being. The hands are the working tools of the human being; connected with this is the creation of personal karma.
4. The skin. This makes the human being a special body, no longer just a member of the whole.
The human being must bring about the transformation of what flows in from within and the altered release from within to the outside world. Only in the ear is the original still preserved, and the larynx transmits it. To create harmony with oneself and the cosmos and to generate its, the cosmos', currents within oneself is the purpose of meditation and concentration.

Die Formen der fünf Ätherströmungen, «Tattwas» (siehe hierzu die Stunden vom 14. November und 1. Dezember 1906):
Dieses ist ein Zeichen der okkulten Schrift, das Menschenzeichen; nichts Willkürliches, nichts Ausgedachtes ist dieses Zeichen, sondern aus dem Kosmos heraus gelesen ist es:
Alles ist Entsprechung im Kosmos, Entsprechung des Makrokosmos mit dem Mikrokosmos.
Sub rosa = unter der Rose das Pentagramm.
Aufwärts die Spitze des Pentagramms gerichtet, ist es das Zeichen der weißen Magie; es drückt aus die Entwicklung der Sonnenkräfte in sich. Abwärts gerichtet die Spitze ist es das Zeichen der schwarzen Magie, den Einfluß der schlimmen Erdenkräfte ausdrückend. Der schwarze Magier konzentriert seinen Willen auf den betreffenden Menschen, den er beeinflussen will, und er erweckt dadurch in ihm ganz bestimmte Gedankenbilder.
1. Ich sagen, das ist der Punkt der ersten Konzentration, das Ichbewußtsein.
2. Das Sprachbewußtsein, das Organ dafür ist der Kehlkopf.
3. Die Aufrichtung des Menschen. Das Handeln des Menschen. Die Hände sind die Arbeitswerkzeuge des Menschen; damit ist in Verbindung die Schaffung des persönlichen Karmas.
4. Der Hautabschluß. Damit ist der Mensch ein besonderer Körper, nicht mehr nur ein Glied im Ganzen.
Der Mensch muß bewirken die Umwandlung des Eingeströmten im Innern und die veränderte Hinausgabe aus dem Innern in die Außenwelt. Nur beim Ohr ist das Ursprüngliche noch erhalten, und der Kehlkopf gibt es ab. Harmonie mit sich und dem Kosmos zu erzeugen und seine, des Kosmos, Strömungen in sich zu erzeugen, das ist der Zweck der Meditation und der Konzentration.
