Born in Holland in 1893, Willem Zeylmans van Emmichoven was an intimate associate of Rudolf Steiner and the first anthroposophical psychiatrist. At Dr. Steiner's request, he became the General Secretary of the Anthroposophical Society in the Netherlands. As a medical doctor and founder of the Rudolf Steiner Clinic in Scheveningen, Netherlands, he also conducted important research into the influence of colors, the psychology of peoples and nations, and individual human psychology. This book is the first biography ever written about Rudolf Steiner, originally written in German in 1932. The German text of the circa 1960 edition is presented here in English.
