On the New Edition of This Work (1922)
Before the ninth edition of this work appeared in 1918, I subjected it to a careful revision. Since then, the number of counter-writings against the anthroposophical world view presented in it has grown significantly. In 1918, the revision led to a large number of additions and supplements. The revision for this new edition has not led to anything similar. Anyone who wishes to note how I myself have raised possible objections in various places in my writings in order to determine their weight and refute them can essentially know what I have to say about the counter-writings. However, this time there were no internal reasons to supplement the content in the same way as in 1918, even though the anthroposophical worldview has expanded in many ways in my soul since then, especially in the last four years, and I have also been able to deepen it. However, this expansion and deepening has not led me to question what is written in this document, but rather to the view that what I have found since then justifies not making any significant changes to the content of this fundamental presentation.
