14. Subjective — Objective Dharma In Karma

[ 1 ] Was auf einem Plane bloß subjektiv erwacht, kann auf diesem Plane wirken, aber nicht wahrnehmen. Mineral ist erwacht - subjektiv auf dem physischen Plan.

[ 1 ] That which awakens on a plane merely subjectively can work on that plane, but not perceive. Mineral has awakened – subjectively on the physical plane.

[ 2 ] Was auf einem Plane subjektiv und objektiv erwacht, kann auf diesem Plane wirken und wahrnehmen.

[ 2 ] What awakens subjectively and objectively on a plane can act and perceive on that plane.

[ 3 ] Mensch ist erwacht:

[ 3 ] A person has awakened:

auf dem physischen Plan - subjektiv und objektiv
auf dem astralen Plan - subjektiv
auf dem mentalen Plan - subjektiv

on the physical plane – subjectively and objectively
on the astral plane – subjectively
on the mental plane – subjectively

[ 4 ] Der physische Plan ist für den Menschen nur deswegen vorhanden, weil er auf demselben subjektiv und objektiv erwacht ist.

[ 4 ] The physical plane is only there for the human being because he has awakened subjectively and objectively on it.

[ 5 ] Wird er auf dem astralen Plan objektiv erwachen, dann wird die ganze Wunschwelt ebenso objektives Dasein haben, wie jetzt die gesamte physische Welt.

[ 5 ] If he awakens objectively on the astral plane, then the whole world of desires will have an objective existence, as the whole physical world has now.

[ 6 ] Wird er auf dem mentalen Plan objektiv erwachen, dann wird alles, was jetzt bloß Gedankenwelt ist, wesenhafte, objektive Welt sein.

[ 6 ] If he awakens objectively on the mental plane, then everything that is now merely the world of thoughts will be an objective world of its own.

[ 7 ] Die Entwicklung des Menschen besteht nacheinander abwechselnd in einem Objektivwerden der drei Welten.

[ 7 ] Man's evolution consists of a succession of successively objective worlds.

1. Physische Welt objektiv: physisches Dasein
2. Astrale Welt objektiv: Kamaloka Dasein
3. Mentale Welt objektiv: Devachan Dasein

1. Physical world objective: physical existence
2. Astral world objective: Kamaloka existence
3. Mental world objective: Devachan existence

Erde: physisch, astral,Manas
Devachan: mental, Budhi, Atma

Earth: physical, astral, manas
Kamaloka: astral, manas, budhi
Devachan: mental, budhi, atma

[ 8 ] Die Entwicklung besteht im fortwährenden Verwandeln des Subjektiven ins Objektive oder des Gesetzes in die Wirklichkeit. Dharma in Karma.

[ 8 ] Development consists in the continuous transformation of the subjective into the objective or of the law into reality. Dharma in karma.

Die Funktion in Form umgesetzt.
Die Hand ist Ergebnis der Arbeit.
Das Auge ist Ergebnis des Lichtes.

Funktion ist das Dasein in Tätigkeit gedacht.
Entwicklung im Fortschritt heißt: Dharma
Holt sich durch seine Tätigkeit aus seiner Umwelt die Organe für seine Zukunft.

The function is realized in form.
The hand is the result of work.
The eye is the result of light.

Function is existence in action conceived.
Development in progress is called: Dharma
Gets through its activity from its environment the organs for its future.

[ 9 ] Karma ist das in der Materie gekreuzigte Dharma.

[ 9 ] Karma is the Dharma crucified in matter.

[ 10 ] Karma ist offenbares Dharma und muss wirken, weil es den unoffenbaren Teil von Dharma verschlossen in sich trägt.

[ 10 ] Karma is the manifest Dharma and must work because it carries the unmanifest part of Dharma locked within itself.

[ 11 ] Dharma ist zugleich das Übersein in einem Sein.

[ 11 ] Dharma is at the same time the transcendence of being.

[ 12 ] Selbsterkenntnis heißt, die Stufe seines Seins im richtigen Sinne erkennen; dann dient Selbsterkenntnis dem Dharma.

[ 12 ] Self-knowledge means to recognize the level of one's being in the right sense; then self-knowledge serves the Dharma.

[ 13 ] Selbsterkenntnis ist Erkenntnis des Unvollkommenheitsgrades eines jeden.

[ 13 ] Self-knowledge is the realization of the degree of imperfection of each individual.

[ 14 ] Befolgung des Gesetzes im Sinne wahrer Selbsterkenntnis ist Dharma.

[ 14 ] Following the law in the sense of true self-knowledge is Dharma.

[ 15 ] Dharma nimmt Materie an und ist in Materie tätig.

[ 15 ] Dharma takes on matter and is active in matter.

Vater: das Übersein
Mutter: das sich entwickelnde Wesen
Sohn: das, was aus dem Sein vermöge des Überseins wird.

Father: the being-beyond
Mother: the evolving being
Son: that which comes into being through the power of being-beyond.

[ 16 ] Dharma ist das schaffende Prinzip, ist ein fortwährendes Eingreifen des Überseins in das Sein. Karma ist das in der Materie gekreuzigte Dharma. So lange muss Karma zur Tätigkeit anstacheln, als Karma nicht Dharma geworden ist.

[ 16 ] Dharma is the creative principle, it is the continuous intervention of being in existence. Karma is the dharma crucified in matter. As long as karma has not become dharma, it must incite action.

[ 17 ] Ideal: Zustand einer Wesenheit, die ihr ganzes Dharma offenbart hat und damit ihr Karma verbrannt hat.

[ 17 ] Ideal: the state of an entity that has revealed all its dharma and thus burned its karma.

[ 18 ] Nirwana. Nirwana ist das Nichts von Karma, weil das ganze Dharma offenbar geworden ist.

[ 18 ] Nirvana. Nirvana is the nothingness of karma because all dharma has been revealed.
