The Occult Truths of Old Myths and Legends
GA 92

These lectures were given to a small circle of Berlin Branch members in the apartment of Miss Klara Motzkus on Fridays. The focus of these reflections is Greek and Germanic mythology. However, Rudolf Steiner uses them as a starting point to cover a wide range of topics: from the unjustified death sentence against Socrates to the significance of marriage, from the founding of Rome to the esoteric background of the poems of Wolfram von Eschenbach. What connects all these reflections is the often only hinted at, often also extensively presented, relationship to the burning questions of the present.
