In the sun's light, a Divine Being feels me
As summer warmth grows, we meet Divine beings themselves as the secrets of the cosmos are revealed through the blooming of nature. We recognize that we belong with the cosmic forces that are manifesting in the flowers and foliage of the natural world. As this cosmic warmth fills us inside, we strengthen our own prescience through heart's divining (in German, Ahnung).
In verse 9 of Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophical calendar, we were called to lose our lower selves to find the Light of the World, the Christ, within us. Now, in verse 10, we feel touched by Divine beings themselves as they gracefully bend down as we rise up: They express themselves through our life of feeling. Yet, only through conscious choice to grow our inner Light do we have the opportunity to evolve in this way. We must become luminescent beings radiating the Light of the World like fireflies glowing in the night.
Practice the Calendar verses to entrain with the rhythms of the seasons. Together, we will radiate these forces out into society through our moral words and deeds of brotherly love.
