—Having said this you will understand better when I now say something which may seem paradoxical but is nevertheless a reality. To become a Christian something quite different is required; namely, an understanding of a certain fundamental attitude of soul. What exactly is meant? Kant said that the world is our mental picture, for the mental pictures we make of the world are formed according to the way we are organized.
