123. The Gospel of St. Matthew (1965): Lecture VI 06 Sep 1910, Bern
Translated by Dorothy S. Osmond, Mildred Kirkcaldy

Above all, however, they practised the very strictest abstinence from meat-eating, with the result that they learnt, comparatively speaking more quickly, to expand their memory beyond 42 generations and to gaze into the secrets of the Akashic Chronicle. They became what may be called a ‘sprout’ or a ‘shoot’ on a branch, on a tree, or on a plant—a sprout that endured through many generations.
114. The Gospel of St. Luke: The Incarnation of the Christ in Jesus of Nazareth 21 Sep 1909, Basel
Translated by Dorothy S. Osmond, Owen Barfield

Some day, when humanity understands what deep wisdom has been preserved in many ancient legends, it will be found that everything deciphered from the Akashic Chronicle is contained in a wonderful way in those legends. We are told, and rightly told, that in ancient India too, men were taught of Christ as a cosmic Being beyond the sphere of the seven holy Rishis.
240. Karmic Relationships VI: Lecture VI 01 Jun 1924, Stuttgart
Translated by Dorothy S. Osmond, E. H. Goddard, Mildred Kirkcaldy

They take into themselves what is inscribed by us into the Akashic Chronicle during the nights we live through during our existence on Earth. They permeate it with their own being and thus make it possible for us, during the first third of our life after death when we are living through the events of earthly existence in backward order, to experience it all with greater intensity than we experienced it on Earth.
136. Spiritual Beings in the Heavenly Bodies and in the Kingdoms of Nature: Lecture VIII 11 Apr 1912, Helsinki

You see, I have now described what the clairvoyant must do to travel back in the Akashic Chronicles to an earlier condition of our planetary system; for by fixing occult vision upon the moon, we have recalled an earlier condition of our planetary system.
114. The Gospel of St. Luke: The Event of Golgotha: Initiation Presented on the Stage of World History 26 Sep 1909, Basel
Translated by Dorothy S. Osmond, Owen Barfield

Luke gives a wonderful account of the mission of Christ Jesus on the Earth, as we shall realize if the light of knowledge derived from the Akashic Chronicle can be brought to bear upon what he describes. The following question might be asked: As the stream of Buddhism is organically woven into Christian teachings, how is it that in the latter there is no indication of the great Law of Karma, of the adjustment effected in the course of the incarnations of an individual human being?
175. Building Stones for an Understanding of the Mystery of Golgotha: Lecture III 10 Apr 1917, Berlin
Translated by A. H. Parker

We only realize the full significance of this when we learn from the Akashic Chronicle what really lies behind Christ's condemnation of the Scribes, of those who derived their knowledge from documents.
255b. Anthroposophy and its Opponents: Academic and Nationalistic Opponents VII 25 May 1921, Stuttgart

This supersensible ability to read is in the so-called Akashic Chronicle, that is, in what one surveys through the experiences of the soul in relation to the soul's eternal; it is nothing other than that the soul these experiences are presented and revealed, so that one's ordinary memory, which otherwise reaches back to birth – or at least to a point near birth – is expanded to cosmic vision.
266III. From the Contents of Esoteric Classes III: 1913–1914: Esoteric Lesson 08 Jun 1913, Stockholm

If everything had remained as originally intended then after the luciferic temptation a man wouldn't have been able to forget his thoughts. He would always have had access to the Akashic records, but it would have been Lucifer and Ahriman who wrote up this chronicle for him. That's why the good Gods had to arrange things so that a man can also forget his thoughts.
92. The Occult Truths of Old Myths and Legends: Reading the Akashic Records of Wolfram von Eschenbach 01 Jul 1904, Berlin

I would like to discuss a piece of history from the last few centuries from the Akashic Records. You know that all events that have happened are recorded in a certain way in an eternal chronicle, in the Akasha substance, which is a much finer substance than the substances we know. You know that all events of history and prehistory are recorded in this substance. What is usually called the Akashic Records in theosophical language, however, are not the original records, but reflections of the actual records in the astral realm.
The Masters must give us the necessary instructions to be able to read in the Akashic Records, which is written in symbols and signs, not in words of any existing language or one that existed in the past.
161. Meditation and Concentration: Three Kinds of Clairvoyance: Lecture III 02 May 1915, Dornach
Translator Unknown

What he thought the day before remains inscribed in the universal cosmic chronicle—which you know as the Akashic record—and what his thinking force develops today is reflected by what he thought yesterday.
What a man has lived through between birth and death is indeed inscribed spiritually into the great chronicle of time. Just as in this physical world we are unable to hear without ears, after death we are unable to perceive unless there is inscribed into the world our life, with all that we have lived through between birth and death.
